GreenHill offers workshops designed to provide a socially charged space that will rejuvenate the spirit and increase understanding of North Carolina art, art materials, and art processes. Led by trained facilitators and/or North Carolina artists, activities unfold in a stress-free setting using art materials and techniques that can easily be enjoyed at all experience levels. You set the pace and enjoy spending time with others who love the opportunity to look at art, make stuff and meet great people. GreenHill’s workshops offer something for everyone! Prices vary. Must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a paying adult.

Photography Workshop (For ages 9-14)

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Children ages 9-14 will learn the basics of digital photography including camera settings, different lighting scenarios, and camera angles. Students will have the opportunity to practice taking photos of still life, portraits, and outdoor landscapes (weather permitting).
Requirements: Students must have a digital camera with a backup set of batteries and/or camera charger. Cost is $35 and space is limited. Sign up below.
Alcohol Painting Workshop (for adults)

Alcohol paint looks similar to watercolor, but dries faster, and offers a vibrant variation of color and textures. As we explore the alcohol painting process, participants will experiment with different techniques and tricks to make one-of-a-kind pieces. Participants may bring abstract or floral images to reference. Bring your own food and drinks. Cost is $35 and space is limited. Sign up below.
